We (Friends of the Victorian Bus Industry) may change these Terms of Use at our discretion and without notice. Your use of this Website and any dispute arising out of such use is subject to the laws of Victoria.

3.6 Full Privacy Policy
We are a group of concerned citizens interested in the on-going viability of the Victorian Bus Industry, and in particular, its bus operators.
 
We have established a website to help us achieve that objective.
 
This policy explains how we will manage personal information in accordance with the requirements of the Australian Privacy Principles contained in the Privacy Act 1988.
 
Personal information is defined in the Privacy Act however, in general terms, it is any information that could identify a person or be used to establish a person’s identity. Personal information includes sensitive personal information, which is also defined in the Privacy Act however, in general terms, includes information about a person’s health, medical or criminal history, trade or professional memberships or affiliations.
 
Types of personal information collected and held by us
We only collect personal information that is reasonably necessary for, or directly related to our functions and activities to achieve our objective set out above.  Examples of the type of personal information we are collecting includes a person’s name and email contact details.
 
We collect personal information directly from individuals, including via our website.
 
How we holds personal information
We hold all personal information securely and we restrict access to members of our group.
